Chancery Lane
Singapore
Concept
Sweden, Asia and white … these were the three influences that molded the design of this space. With a clean and simple background, our aim was to mesh together two distinct cultures into one extremely relaxing and easy to live space.
Originally, the place was very dark. To shed more light throughout the residence, we opened up the walls between the kitchen and dining rooms to create an open concept space. Sliding pocket framed-glass doors were added to close off the kitchen if required.
With fantastic existing teak and white furniture, Asian accessories and paintings, we had a lot of décor items to style the space without having to purchase new furnishings. The project was completed more than 12 years ago in 2004; however, the space remains contemporary even today.
